This course provides the basic concepts of IBM i Power Systems and explains the functions and the applications supported by IBM i operating system. With extensive hands on exercises provides the necessary skills to use control language (CL) commands, to manage the message queues and printouts and to understand the objects management and the basic security concepts.

Audience

The course is designed for new users of IBM system i who want to either start developing and maintain applications or operating the IBM i Power system.
