This fundamental course provides the basic and intermediate knowledge for the daily operations and administrative work on IBM System i, using both IBM navigator and emulator 5250. It includes hand on exercises on job control, monitoring, sending messages, managing systems devices, objects save and restore, bouncing the system and first level of incident management.

Audience

This course is designed for the people who will (or already have) undertake the responsibility for the daily system operations on IBM System i.

Prerequisites

This course includes all the necessary topics of the Introduction to IBM System i course (AS101), so there is no any mandatory prerequisite.
