This course offers the basic knowledge about the functions and the components of IBM's DB2 relational data base, explains the characteristics of a DB2 table and the basic concepts of data modeling and provides the information for the responsibilities of a data base and system administrator. With many hands on exercises the course provides instructions to generate simple and SQL statements including ADD, REMOVE or CHANGE functions.

Audience

This fundamental course is designed mainly for operators needing an introductory knowledge of DB2.

It’s highly recommended for the participants to have basic knowledge in data processing.
